Hoshizaki water cooled ice machines are fully WRAS compliant if installed in accordance with the installation instructions. The approved installation method requires that the water-cooled condenser should be connected to a closed circuit recirculating cooling system. Using water to cool all refrigeration systems can lead to excessive consumption and may contravene local water byelaws. This can lead to long term high water costs which could be avoided using alternative installation/design methods.
